Solun’-u is a small planetarium “midlet” designed for use on Java-enabled mobile phones (J2ME MIDP).

The main features of Solun’ have been squeezed into this tiny application. With Solun’-u in your pocket, you’ll be ready for a spot of astronomy on the move.

Solun’-u application should operate on most devices supporting MIDP 1.0. It works best with a colour screen but black and white devices are supported. It has been tested on a number of phones, from Nokia 3510i through to Series 60 and UIQ.

Use NetAlarm, you will never forget to charge a phone or miss an important call because of no coverage. Moreover, it protects your smartphone keys against accidental pressing, for example, in a pocket.

The program has three functions:

• no network alarm
• battery discharge alarm
• phone keys automatic lock

All parameters can be adjusted independently for each profile. That’s why, the program behaves differently during a meeting (silence profile) or in a car (outdoor profile). Auto Lock function automatically deactivates during charging, and that make easier to use a phone in a car or in an office. For each alarm you can choose suitable sound (system beep or wave,*.acc,*.rng etc.) or vibrating alert. The program starts automatically up after turn on or restart. Moreover, there is a watchdog application which looks after the main program.

MiniBlaster is a game for Nokia Series 60 phones (Series 60 1st, 2nd and 3rd edition, e.g. 7650, N-Gage, 6670, 6630, E70 etc.), inspired by the old classics Bomberman and DynaBlaster.

The game is playable in single player mode and in multiplayer mode for two players over bluetooth.

MiniBlaster is localized into English, Swedish and Finnish.

Tips

If the game runs too slowly, try disabling the music or maybe sound altogethger. This can be needed especially in client mode on older phones.

The package for Series 60 3rd edition is self-signed. Many such devices are originally set not to allow installation of such packages. If unsure, open the application manager on the phone, select settings in the menu, set software installation to “all” and online certificate check to off.
